| Middlebury Sweets is owned and operated by Blanca Jenne. We opened our doors under the name Sweet Surprises Down Candy Lane in 2007 but decided to change the name to Middlebury Sweets in 2010 to match our web address. Middlebury Sweets shares it's retail space with Scrapbook & Rubber Stamp Paradise. A paper craft store that Blanca opened in 2004. Blanca has had several small business in connection to candy in the past 17 years and has attended many candy and gourmet food shows over the years looking for top quality sweet treats. After losing her business to a fire in 1995, Blanca was only able to start very small ventures leading up to this point in her career. Finally in 2007, Blanca was finally able to open a store that she has wanted for the last 15 years, a candy store. Blanca looks for only high quality products for her store as well as famous name brand panned candies such as Jelly Belly and Haribo to name a few. So when you shop at Middlebury Sweets, you know you are getting quality products, family favorites and a great selection to please any sweet tooth! |
