| Middlebury Sweets is proud to sponsor a summer reading program here in Addison County! Reading is so important in every child's life. We believe it is important for children to read all year and not just while in school. So we've decided to create a summer reading incentive program for any student in grades K-8 to encourage kids to read while out of school. This will help them maintain their reading skills while on summer vacation. What is the "Sweet Rewards" Summer Reading Program? Any student who reads four books will receive a FREE 1/2lb of candy* or single ice cream cone of their choice from our candy store & a $5.00 gift certificate for Green Peppers restaurant! Plus, all students who submit their form for their FREE bag of candy/ice cream & $5.00 pizza gift certificate, will also have their names submitted for a chance to win the end of summer grand prize donated by local business here in Addison County. Grand prize will be given away at the end of summer. Who can participate in the program? Any student in grades K-8 may submit ONE entry. What does a student need to do to participate in the program? Each student must read four books at his/her level of reading between June 15th and August 31st, and complete the reading log which you can download by clicking the link below. Once you have read four books, bring the completed form to Middlebury Sweets no later then August 31, 2011 to pick up your sweet reward. Your completed form will be turned in at our store for your free 1/2 lb of candy or ice cream cone and $5.00 pizza gift certificate from Green Peppers. We will then also submit your name for a chance to win the grand prize that will be awarded at the end of the summer. Only ONE entry per student. Reading log MUST be received in our store by August 31, 2011. NO LATE FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
